New 'green jobs' coming to Palm Coast
After the holiday season, Palm Coast will host a tree recycling event where you can bring your Christmas trees, along with used VCRs, TVs and CD or DVD players.
On Saturday, Jan. 9, you can recycle your Christmas tree and receive a three-gallon evergreen tree for free in exchange.
This will be the city’s Third Annual Christmas Tree Recycling Event, and it will take place from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Palm Coast’s fuel depot, located at 22 Utility Drive. Staff members will also be distributing information on how to become a more green-conscious resident.
All of the trees that are donated during the recycle will be used as mulch for foliage throughout Palm Coast. City staff requests that residents planning to recycle their tree remove all decorations, lights, tinsel and ornaments from the trees prior to donation.

- Land
- Condominiums
- Commercial
Each will perform differently. The primary segment that I focus on when posting local market data monthly on my website www.PalmCoastHomeShow.com is the Residential Housing market segment. This is often the best guage of performance in the area.
